Former athlete at Southwest High School (San Antonio, TX) and Texas A&M University–Kingsville. I was introduced to track & field in middle school, where I discovered both a passion for the sport and my own potential. Through competition, I developed strong physical and mental toughness, constantly pushing my limits. In high school, I competed at the Regional Track Meet for 3–4 years, earning multiple first-place finishes.
I later earned a full scholarship to Texas A&M–Kingsville, where I qualified for the national meet at Mt. SAC in California and ranked Top 20 in the 100m hurdles at the 2008 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships.

My passion for running began in middle school and ended in high school. My journey to excel in something I loved to do has allowed me to grow with each year. The challenges, motivation and perseverance, I strived to improve each and every meet. Now given the opportunity in being an assistant coach, I bring to the table my experience, knowledge and mentality. I am looking forward to passing on the excitement, fun and enthusiasm that I enjoyed when getting set on the track.

Originally I joined track & field just to be better than my brother was when he was at Southwest, but I quickly fell in love with it.
Ran the 100-400m sprints as well as long jump, I started off rough around the edges but after joining the stunners and maintaining hard work and discipline I quickly went from JV to the top of varsity. I specialize in short sprints, and teaching great fundamentals in sprinting.
