Former athlete of Southwest High School in San Antonio, Texas and Texas A&M University in Kingsville, Texas.

Growing up I didn't know much about track & field until middle school. Living on the southwest side of San Antonio doesn't expose you to much of the sport. Through participation, I've learned not only about the sport but a lot about myself.
​
I learned physical & mental toughness that I didn't know I had. Competing teaches you to push the boundaries and test your limits. In high school, I competed at the Regional Track Meet 3-4 years & placed 1st in several events of those 2 years. I earned a full scholarship to attend A&M, Kingsville; where I qualified for & competed in the Nation Track Meet at Mt. SAC in California.
I ranked top 20 in the 100m hurdles at the 2008 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Meet

A man of God., loving husband and a father of 5. Born and raised in Victoria Texas and attended Texas A&M-Kingsville. Walked on and earning a scholarship in Track & Field.

ABOUT
Graduating class of 2018 and formal athlete at Southwest High School in San Antonio Texas.

My passion for running began from middle school and ended in high school. My journey to excel in loving what I do has allowed me to grow with each year. The challenges, motivation and perseverance, I strive to be better with each and every meet. Now given the opportunity in becoming an assistant coach I bring to the table my experience, knowledge and mentality. I am looking forward to passing on the excitement, fun and enthusiasm that I enjoyed when getting set on the track.
